Program Overview

Cyber Defense Training Camp is an intermediate level  7 day residential summer program for high school men and women (rising juniors and seniors). You will  have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of cybersecurity and gain practical skills through instruction by an experienced security professional. Students learn about the field, take at least one field trip and hear from a variety of speakers to learn more about how to prepare to enter this exciting profession.

*Technical experience is highly encouraged, including networking, Cisco Academy, and/or Java programming.

Goals

To prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals through interactive learning, skill building, and utilization of available resources.

The Curriculum

Also: Guest speakers, field trip, cyber defense exercise, and computer-based "Capture-the-flag" competition at the end of the week.
